I Made the Girl I Liked My Maid, and Now She’s Secretly Doing Something in My Room (LN) Volume 1 Chapter 14

Chapter 14: The Maid’s Physical Contact

“There was a time when I looked after Saya and her mother at our home,” Reizen-sensei explained, her voice now carrying a relaxed, natural tone that was a world away from her usual formal demeanor.

As she’d mentioned, the Reizen family was “practically commoner” by their own standards, but their high-society roots meant she normally wore multiple layers of social masks. I couldn’t help but think it was some seriously heavy-duty protection; likely not a single student at school had ever seen the real her.

“Even now, we’ve still got that big mansion,” she continued. “My cousin sometimes comes to stay, and she’ll hit me with some heavy stuff—like how she’s in love with her best friend’s older brother and doesn’t know what to do. It always puts me in a bind.”

It doesn’t seem like a big deal to be in love with a friend’s brother, but I guess there must be some complicated circumstances at play.

In any case, it sounded like the main Reizen residence had plenty of spare rooms and was accustomed to taking in freeloaders. Sayaka’s mother, who had connections to both the Kiyomiya and Reizen families, had apparently moved in there for a time after quitting her job as a servant for my family. During that period, a student-aged Reizen-sensei had looked after Sayaka.

“The transfer exam for Sōshūkan requires a recommendation from a prominent family,” Sayaka had told me earlier. “The Reizen family helped me with that.” She had then leaned in and whispered, “Miyabi-san doted on me like a little sister.” Since enrolling, however, they had intentionally kept their distance. Well, that makes sense. A teacher and a student acting like sisters wouldn’t look good.

So, was the strict, “adult attitude” Reizen-sensei displayed in the staff room just an act? Her demeanor had changed so drastically when she offered to help Sayaka. That had to be her true self. Maybe she was actually glad I’d brought the matter to her attention.

“Phew…”

After that meeting in the student guidance office, I headed home. I took a long bath, and now, back in my room, I flopped onto my bed, the day’s events crashing down on me.

Man, I’m exhausted. What an unexpected turn of events… way too unexpected. I had steeled myself to protest the abolishment of the special scholarship program, but the conversation veered off in a completely different direction. I only went to Reizen-sensei because she’s my homeroom teacher, but… wait a minute…

Frankly, there’s nothing I can do about this on my own. I went to complain, but I knew they wouldn’t just overturn their decision. But if I can get help from Reizen-sensei—an adult and a teacher at this school—

“Kiyomiya-kun, don’t fall asleep.”

“Whoa!?”

The sudden voice nearly made me jump out of my skin.

“S-Sayaka!? When did you get in here!”

She was on my bed—or more accurately, straddling me. Dressed in her maid uniform, she looked down at me with an unreadable expression.

“Before you go to sleep, I wanted to thank you properly,” she said.

“Thank me? You don’t have to get on top of me to do that.”

“It was to wake you up,” she replied simply.

“Well, that was a little too effective.”

A cute maid straddling you on your bed—I doubt there’s a man alive who wouldn’t be jolted awake by that. “So, what’s this ‘thank you’ for?”

“For going to protest to Miyabi-san—to Reizen-sensei—for my sake. You did that even though you could have gotten on the school’s bad side.”

“Reizen-sensei will probably keep her mouth shut about me complaining. Ah, no, wait… if she kept quiet, that would be a problem in its own way, wouldn’t it?”

“No, it’s better if she does,” Sayaka insisted. “Reizen-sensei is just a junior teacher, not a head teacher or a vice principal. She’ll be the one in trouble if the school decides to start watching her.”

“…If she loses her job because of me, that’d definitely give me some sleepless nights.” It would be a disaster if Sayaka’s scholarship was revoked, but I feel terrible about getting Reizen-sensei involved. “Yeah, you’re right. She seems like a reliable ally, but maybe that’s exactly why I can’t rely on her.”

“The school knows about our family connection. Even if Reizen-sensei were to protest, they’d just assume she’s protecting a relative.”

“That’s how it would look, huh.” I sighed, a flicker of hope dying out. It seemed getting her help wasn’t an option after all. Just when I thought I saw a glimmer of a solution…

“For now, let’s not worry about Reizen-sensei,” Sayaka said, her voice softening. “More importantly, Kiyomiya-kun, thank you.”

“You’re a freeloader at my place. I can’t just ignore your problems.”

“Aren’t you being a little too nice to a mere freeloader?” she teased.

“I’m trash, after all. I’ve just got a soft spot for cute girls,” I shot back, trying to sound casual.

“You’re trash for saying whatever comes to mind to hide your embarrassment,” she retorted smoothly. “If I become your maid, I’ll be sure to beat that rotten nature out of you.”

“With all this talk of studying and training, I’m starting to think it’s better not to make you my maid after all.”

“Perhaps I should also watch what I say,” she murmured, a thoughtful look in her eyes.

“……!”

Her hand slid down, her fingers gently caressing my chest.

“Wh-What are you doing?” I stammered.

“You worked so hard today, so I thought I’d give you a massage. It’s about the only kind of service I can offer right now.”

“N-No, I don’t need any service or anything like that…”

“Kiyomiya-kun, you’ve been looking so tired ever since I came here,” she continued, her touch gentle but firm. “It’s a maid’s job to lighten your burden, but I seem to be doing the opposite.”

“M-My body isn’t tired or anything.”

“You’re surprisingly stubborn. I’m starting to lose my confidence, not as a maid, but as a girl.”

“You should probably keep your confidence as a girl…” If it were anyone but me, they would have easily succumbed to her temptation. If I carelessly accept her ‘service,’ I’ll really have to hire her. I’m still not prepared for that.

“Hey, Kiyomiya-kun,” she said, changing the subject. “Don’t you think this house is too big?”

“Huh? What’s this all of a sudden?”

“It’s so big, it’s actually a little scary.”

“You’ve never said anything like that before, have you?” It’s true that this old mansion is massive, a slightly creepy Western-style building. To be honest, even I find it a little scary at night. I never imagined Sayaka, who’s always so cool, would feel that way. “You’re sleeping in the servant’s quarters, right?”

“Yes,” she nodded.

In this mansion, the family’s rooms are completely separate from the servants’. It’s not unusual for old estates; servants were often housed in a separate wing, or worse, the basement or attic.

“There are plenty of empty rooms in the family wing. You can just sleep in any one you like.”

“No. I want to be a maid, so I won’t compromise on using the servant’s quarters.”

“Y-You’re the one who’s being too stubborn…” There are so many rooms, she could just use whichever one she wants.

“But,” she whispered, leaning closer, “if it’s to serve my Master… then how about I sleep next to you?”

“Huh?”

Right before my eyes, she untied her maid apron and let it fall to the side. Then, she slipped off the black, knee-length dress. Underneath, she wore only a long, white camisole. The valley of her breasts was clearly visible, the white straps of her bra peeking out from underneath the thin fabric.

“I’m in the mood to offer some special service today. Your actions were unexpected, Kiyomiya-kun. To think you’d actually protest to the school for my sake.”

“Even scum like me gets pissed off when they see something even more scummy than themselves,” I managed to say, averting my eyes from her. What the…? Why is she undressing?

“You worked hard for me today. So, as a maid, I’ll work hard through the night, too.”

“W-Work hard… whoa!”

She grabbed my wrist and fell back onto the bed, pulling me down with her. We ended up lying side-by-side, her ample chest bouncing with a soft jiggle right in front of me.

“H-Hey, Sayaka.”

“This mansion is big and scary, isn’t it?” she murmured into my shoulder. “That’s why I, your maid, will sleep with you.”

“Aren’t you the one who’s scared? Are you sure about this? I’m just a male classmate, you know.”

“You’re the male classmate I want to become my master.” She pressed her body against mine, her face nestled against my chest. Her two soft breasts were pressed firmly against me.

“Honestly, I wanted to become your maid just like this… but we’re past that point now, aren’t we?”

“Reizen-sensei will probably help us out, and there are still other ways—”

“Miyabi-san is a reliable person, but at Sōshūkan, she’s just a junior teacher. She doesn’t have the power to overturn a school decision. Absolutely not.”

“Even so… I can’t just leave things as they are.” A sweet, sour scent wafted from her hair. I instinctively wrapped my arm around her back, pulling her closer.

Is this really okay? Just because she calls herself a maid and treats me like her master, I’m taking advantage of the situation. Sayaka is just a classmate, a freeloader. Her large breasts pressed even more firmly against me.

“You’re so kind, for someone who claims to be such scum, Kiyomiya-kun,” she whispered, her face buried in my chest. “It’s no use. I’m not your maid yet. You have no obligation to help me.”

“…”

I do have an obligation. To me, Hisaka Sayaka is the girl I like. It would be a problem if she lost her scholarship and had to leave Sōshūkan. That’s why I’ll help her. The logic is as simple and as straightforward as it gets. In that case—to save her, I should use every last thing at my disposal.
